Business is the Perfect Complement; if you desire to help others
January 17th, 2008
If you had all the money in the world, what would you do?
If you had the desire to help as many people as you possibly can, and make these people happy, I would like to suggest going into business.
Why?
You only have this much manpower if you do it yourself. You only have this much time to spend. You can only be at once place at any one time. You can only travel this fast.
There’s more, but you get the point and I don’t wish to bore you.
Business practically eliminates ALL those problems and achieves what you would ideally want - to help as many people as possible, numbers that you may not even have imagined possible.
LEVERAGE - that is the word.
Business can multiply your manpower by many fold - tens of thousands and even millions.
How?
When you hire someone to do it for you, that’s already multiplying your power to two times your original limit. In fact, the employee may even be better than you at doing the task you hired him for, so it’s really more than two times. Imagine having 50,000 employees, and each doing the task with absolute skill because they have been trained to specialize so well in that.
Another one that has the potential to reach even billions - using the power of multiplying your force mentioned above PLUS the power of marketing to multiply that one more level. Having 50,000 people to manage 10 people each amounts to half a million people. Of course, this cannot apply to all niches - but the niches where the prospects can be a part of your business will unleash a beast here.
This is also a leverage of time; because you are using other people’s. You can only do a certain amount of things in an hour - but if you have one hour from each of the 50,000 employees, it’s 1,200,000 hours every 24 hours.
Business also increases your reach
With so many people, you can have presence in so many more countries - 50,000 countries in this case since we’ve used that number - and I don’t even think there are 50,000 countries on this planet.
Now you can help people in Asia, America, Europe, Africa and Australia - probably more because those are the only ones I can think of right now.
Most importantly… Business allows you to make others who would otherwise reject your help, let you help them.
That may sound confusing, but it’s essentially about having your prospects to let you help them.
Imagine having a pure, genuine intention of helping someone, but that person thinks that you have an ulterior motive - and you get rejected.
It’s not the best feeling; because you feel like you want to help them more than they want to help themselves. And it’s THEIR life.
This is where business comes into play…
When you build your business well, you can build the trust that will make the people give you permission to help them. You actually help people who would otherwise reject your help. I will go into this with more detail in another post; it’s one that deserves its own.
Also, it allows you to help them even more than you would be able to if you did it yourself.
How?
By setting up your business to sell multiple products beyond the first, you can help them even more; and the best thing is, they let you do it.
The powers of business is astonishing.
My Goal - To help as many businesses as possible. Helping businesses leverages on their power to help even more people.
If I help 10 businesses with 2,000 customers each, I help 20,000 people.
My goal has figures way above that - but that is a topic for another time.
