Finding ways to live your Passion
January 20th, 2008
How’s the thought of being able to live doing what you love?
Doing that which is your hobby, something you probably think is ‘just a hobby’; that it cannot impact your life in any significant way.
Perhaps your hobby is one that you THINK is acceptable; and your true passion lies somewhere else, suppressed by the people who have no passion and take your aways with in-deliberate selfishness that is passed on unconsciously.
But first, you have to find your passion. What you would do for nothing in return, what you would do for the world - and realize that you can do it that way and fulfill every other area of your life that you think it cannot fulfill. I will show you how.
I said that it would be something that you would do for nothing in return, but ironically, it will, and it will in ways you can never imagine - and give you the most amazing feeling that will finally bring you to love life like never before.
Ask yourself these questions, and maybe you will find your passion in the answers:
If you had all the money and all the material objects you would never want, what would you do?
What have you ever done that made you feel like you didn’t want to sleep?
Sleep is loved so much in majority of today’s society - because life is a chore for most, because life brings more boredom than sleep and it feels worse being awake - sleep gives neutrality, which is better than bad. It’s how miserable so many people are in today’s world that sleep has become more entertaining, more calming; and it is a way to escape from the terrible realities they have to face from being awake.
Are you one of them?
It’s time to bring the excitement back into your life, the meaning, the joy, the PASSION.
Realize you can do what you love, and at least work towards it. Working towards it is passion at work; the abundance of meaning that you have been seeking.
Find a way to contribute to the world doing what you love; something that benefits others, that makes others live much better lives, that brings joy to people.
You are probably thinking - How am I going to make money from doing what I love?
Remember, when you bought materials or assets for your hobby, you were giving someone else money.
Find out all the ways money is spent in what you are doing.
It could be a shop selling your collectibles, and think far, into the point where you think about the manufacturer who made your collectibles from raw materials and the designer who gave the blueprints.
ALL these are ways you can fulfill your need for finances.
There, the financial part has been settled.
This was probably the reason you never considered even living off doing what you love, and settled for something that you hate to fulfill this area; when it has all just been an illusion because you can.
No excuses.
You can work towards setting up a shop, or you can work towards becoming the best concept artist that will impress the people and allow you to create your collectibles.
…and how are you going to contribute to the world?
Imagine making someone so happy because you added a piece to his collection that he is just so passionate about. Imagine being able to show others how possible it is and that they should reach for their dreams just like you did. Imagine being able to fuel other people’s passions - the person who lives to carve that creates your designs, the person who loves to design the machines to manufacture your product - and you just gave them a life they can be passionate and one they can love.
This is to show you that it IS possible.
Next step - work towards it.
